not for me:
Picking up the interference flag, after a rep conference was pitiful. How do you knock the receiver down then tip the ball and it's ruled a tipped ball.
Picking up the flag on the face mask after a rep conference was as bad. You don't have to have your fingers intertwined with the face mask. The tackler obviously used the face mask to snap Jacobi's head back. even if he didn't it was close lining.
CAA schools spend millions to maintain a football program we need better refs. I hope Gill aggressively pursues this. (and they find out what went on in those ref conferences)
On to coaches.
It was obvious to a neophyte like me UNH was going to blitz, Lauletta is not that mobile so gets rattled with pressure. Predictably UNH brought two linbackers up the middle and we had nothing to stop it.
On defense, for the upteenth time we play prevent defense for the entire game. Rushing three (or even 4) isn't going to work on a CAA quarterback. Secondly why do our CB play 10 yards of the receiver when it's 3rd and 4? Look at UNH. their backs stand on the first down line know you have to keep the play in front of you.
I would love some more informed opinions.
