Injuries or not, my point is that irreplaceable starters shouldn't be playing at the end of any game that is already decided because one of the teams has an insurmountable lead. And even mop up minutes are beneficial to bench players.

I don't think Cayo was in at the end of the BC game.

True, but hopefully they don’t play if they aren’t truly ready. Going to need them even more in conference play. If they are out, then Sal and Tyler get to show us what they learned vs Hampton. Those are the two players that will need to step up.

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to not start Sal if Grant/Nathan are out. Thinking if he came in off the bench he may have less nervous energy. Get Andre to do jump ball.

I still believe in Sal and Tyler. They are going to step up big time!! We keep talking about how we need develop bench play, well we are getting it now. Power to the bench that we secure a victory today over the USA.

Beyond today's game my concern extends to loss practice time for Grant and Cayo. The man-to-man defense was beginning to really come together. If they aren't practicing, defense could take a step back for several games beyond just today's.
