How do the Spiders close out the season?

I feel like 2-1 with wins against Nova and W&M is the more realistic 2-1 option.
This wouldn't salvage the season but it would be a pretty damn good consolation prize considering how the year has gone for both programs so far.
Great game by the defense against Nova, apparently the only times they have been shut out in the past 10 years was against us last year and yesterday. But they will not get a shutout against JMU and Brian Schor, we will need to win with the offense.
Before yesterday, I thought that we had very little chance against JMU at their place. Now, after demonstrating that we can get a push from the o-line and run the ball, at least I thing we have a chance. I especially enjoyed the patience of the offense and yesterday's game plan of ball control, and I hope that's the plan for next week too.

Man I hope we win out, but even then Elon needs to beat UNH and Delaware needs to lose to Albany and Nova for us to even have a hope of finishing tied for 4th. I'm guessing Delaware has the tie breaker if they only lose 1 of the 2 because of their win over us. UNH and Delaware did not play.
Agree...even in this very low probability scenario we will need the help of a FCS committee...never want the Spiders destiny in the hands of a committee...but heck, wasn't that our next AD on the FCS Power Ranking Committee?...
also in this scenario we would be the only 7-4 with a win over the "unbeatable" Dukes...

Agree Stonewall, I have seen the miracles go both for and against us when playing those two teams.
In fact both can result in a unexpected outcome but for decades it's especially true with the W&M game.
