Just looked this up to see what was going on with him in free agency (from Rotoworld):

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Saints are working on a new deal with free agent RB Tim Hightower.
Hightower showed well in three starts last season, but the decision to keep the soon-to-be 30 Hightower over the 26-year-old Khiry Robinson is an interesting one. Hightower should not make much more than the veteran minimum on a new deal. Mark Ingram will continue to be the bell-cow in New Orleans. Mar 8 - 11:04 AM

Tim has his age and years in league working against him but the saints know him and that is huge. they will not find a better team guy and anyone who will work harder

I think he plays "younger" than his 30 years since he was out for almost 2 years rehabbing his injuries.
