The Barneys need to realize that their problem is not the AD but King who is VP of finance and thinks he knows something about athletics. Very strange dynamics in athletics for the Barneys.King is straight off a turkey farm in Rockingham Co.

Actually, I think having a strong JMU is good for us and good for the CAA. Year after year we measure ourselves
against the Dukes. We beat them-all is good with the world. We lose- and the end of life is near.
OH sure- Front Royal is going to have his tantrums, but we're better having a respected competitor.

I want a strong CAA, but not a strong JMU. Just like basketball, fine w/ everyone else but VCU. 0-30 seems improbable but one can hope

Trouble is, not all of the teams in the CAA value football. The new additions over the years don't put football on a pedestal.
