Finally playing to their potential. Where was this heart and grit all season? In any case, enjoying it immensely right now.
So there was a two game difference in record between Dayton and Richmond but they were in bubble convo and we weren’t even close. Shows how important it is to win a premiere game somewhere and that every game matters.
Immediately after the game, Golden went over and hugged his mom, his brother Bryce, and TJ Cline. That is heart.
Gilyard has his brother`s name tattooed on his wrist. His brother has autism.
In that order. His brother saw the VCU game yesterday too for the first time.
They have one more win to pull off before all the big speeches should start up.
This team has overcome so much. This entire team came back because they love Richmond.
