GW(27-10) beats San Diego State 65-46.Play Valpo 7pm Thursday for all the NIT marbles.In control all night.GW is a 4 seed,Valpo a 1 seed in the 4group x 8teams field.Valpo was one of 1st 4 left out of Big Dance.

Bryce Drew would be a great hire. I would imagine a BCS job would be in his future though if he desires to move up. If we are going to hit someone like a Bryce drew hire, we probably need to do it earlier in their career before they have a record of long term success that Drew has built up.
 
Drew can take his pick of jobs if he wants to move, but he played at Valpo and his dad was the coach there forever. Won't be shocked if he stays put for a long time.
 
Brother Scott was an assistant for Dad Homer at Valpo for 9 years.He left after 1 year as Valpo head coach and has been the head coach at Baylor since 2003.He makes over $2,000,000 per annum.

Drew has been at Valpo for 5 years and makes $285,000 per annum.He's won 72% of his games at Valpo.

If he stays at Valpo for any longer time he needs to have his head examined.

Guess he would make more at St. Louis, but is it a step up? Doesn't seem like it.
 
Congrats to GW. Although not many of them understand what I just said. Lol. Glad to see them win.
 
GW really turned it on the last few games. Kudos to them, and it's a nice showing for the league to have the NIT champion.
 
I love our #1 seeded team in NIT. I don't understand the haters who say that team was a loser because it missed the NCAA tourney by the narrowest of margins. I look forward to next year. I doubt we make the NCAA tourney, but who knows. I'm looking forward to seeing some new talent on the team. We have a very ambitious OOC schedule, and if we do well, we'd be well prepared for an NCAA bid. But it would mean that new players, make a big impact.
