Great Season Spiders!

it was definitely a tough game to watch tonight and the refs made some bad calls, but to be fair it went both ways. Also, give a ton of credit to NDSU. They completely out played us and deserved to win.

If you were to poll this forum whether the spiders would make the FCS semi-finals this year, the vast majority would say no. We exceeded our expectations and have made our mark as a force to be reckoned with. Not only did we make the national semi-finals only to lose to the 4x defending champions, we got to be on ESPN College Gameday, we won the CAA championship, and we had 4 All-Americans.

I'm very proud of our team and look forward to a bright future.

A big thank you to our seniors. They have turned the ship. Back-to-back playoffs and a semifinal appearance.

This was a great season. Winning at JMu when they hosted Gameday, sweeping the Indians, going to the Semi's. While tonight hurts, it is a good experience for next year.

2016 will be special.

Agree. Its easy to be disappointed tonight. We didnt play anywhere close to our best tonight in Fargo. However, it was awesome watching this team develop from Spring ball through tonight. As Mo said, beating the Pukes after they hosted Gameday and sweeping the Tribe were great accomplishments.

Maybe too early for this, but we are loaded for next year. We will be a top 5 pre season team and return a ton of young talent and experience. We need to get NDSU in the Brickhouse next year!

Hey, Spiders, we've come a long way in 4 seasons, and you Seniors have made a forever mark on this program and will be remembered for putting UR back on the national stage. Know it's hard right now to appreciate all you've accomplished, but we your fans do. Thanks for giving it your all and here's to a great offseason for those returning to get ready to make it all the way to Frisco next season!

Bison fans and players were classy, especially when Jones injured. Knew NDSU was very good but no idea how good.. Other than placekicker, solid everywhere. Hope one day we find a pass rush like I saw last night and corners who can press cover. UR with great, unexpected season, but Bison too good, too talented. Believe they would beat UR 9 out of 10 times on neutral site which is not to demean UR but to credit them. Best team won convincingly Will root for Bison in Frisco. Congrats to UR for wonderful year. Have to work for top 2 seed in future and stay home.

Here's hoping for a well deserved holiday break for all the gridiron players,coaches,trainers and support staff.It wasn't easy combining 3 extra games in a span of 3 consecutive weeks(2 consecutive away games v higher ranked Missouri Valley teams),throw in exams throughout,throw in travel to Normal,IL,come back to UR,rest and prep in a short week,get ready for a trip to Fargo,ND to play on a national stage in prime time in front of 18,000 maniacal hometown screaming fans.Well done in spite of all these obstacles.

Heal for the Spring practice schedule.Finish up recruiting for early February signings with quality student-athletes and keep all the coaches in tact going into 2016.

It was not our time to move on. They were better and it showed. We had a great year. Most expectations were exceeded. This team impressed me. Cannot wait to see what next year bring.

Remember that UR was only picked to finish 5th in CAA and to win the conference and finish among the "final four" teams in the nation is a tremendous accomplishment. Congrats to the players, coaches and support staff on a terrific season!

I'm really proud of this team. After watching the spring game this year, I really didn't think we had a playoff team, boy was I wrong (I know that's a shock to many of you). Hats off to the Bisons, they are a great team and should 5'peat. And I've never seen that long an ovation for an opposing team's injured player as the one their fans gave for David Jones. I must say that playing every playoff game at home is a HUGE advantage for NDSU, has any team ever won there the first time they played there? I hope next year the Spiders are a top four seed.

kudos to the team for blowing up Game Day, dominating W&M 125 & 126, winning the CAA Championship, and reaching the FCS Playoff Semi-Finals...these along with all the amazing individual performances made this one of my favorite seasons ever...

to those not returning a big thanks for playing a key role in restoring the program to CAA and national relevance...

to those returning, remember how good it felt this season and the hard work it took to make it happen...it will be even harder next season as the big bull's eye will be on your backs...I have a feeling you can handle it...
