Yep hope he makes it and we get another in the pros. But I'm a little confused, does he have eligibiity left?
He shouldn't. He played in double-digit games the past four fall seasons after making a few appearances in the Spring 2021 COVID season.
Yeah i didn't think so which is why the the whole "declaring" thing was odd. But perhaps he just wanted to make a post and get his name out there which is fine.
Spring was 4 games, so RS, then four years. Could he have had his covid year left.? I thought he was done also, but he was listed as a freshman for the spring season, and everyone got a covid year.
Spring 2021 was the "extra" year that didn't count. He played four full seasons after that.
Ok, thanks for clearing up. I thought everyone just got an extra year giving some five full years, then the four games might be counted as RS year, but was not sure.
A great warrior in the trenches who always seemed to make a big play when most needed. My favorite was the 4th down stop at Delaware his sophomore year to set up the game winning drive. I am pulling for him to get a chance to make an NFL roster.
I wish him the best. He was a wonderful player for us, but I have to question his NFL abilities.
