NEVER, assume a win is guaranteed. SLU has D1 athletes. A lot of newcomers, who have a whole season of experience behind them. We have a short bench. Take them seriously. We should win, but we need to play at our best.

We do not need to play our best to win. We do need to win though.

Let's not forget that William and Mary was heavily favored on senior day against a Drexel team minus 2 starters and down to 7 players and ended up losing 80-66. We can't take any team for granted, need to play hard and build a big, comfortable lead.

And that is why William and Mary has never been to an NCAA tournament. I'm sure our players are not taking SLU lightly.

We are a lot better than W+M and SLU is a lot worse than Drexel.

I am sure the coaching staff realizes the implications this game and after last night have reminded the guys
of the opportunity this game holds. I hope they are as fired up as If they are playing VCU.

That drive and slam by TA late in the UMass game tells me they're focused and taking it to opponents now. Earlier in season he would have finger rolled it. No way they're letting this game slip away and as long as they feel fans are behind them, think they'll come out firing on all cylinders.

Can't let off the gas peddle. Our defense has been superb of late so even if we don't shoot well hoping that will carry us through. On paper it is not close but have seen many heavily favored sports teams blow games like this. However I'm thinking the other heavily favored home team today has a greater chance of losing rather than us
