Good season boys

I know I have upset many people on here with some stupid comments that I made but I want to acknowledge the great year we had. I know our expectations may have been higher but I am still proud of our boys. We went through so much and we're still able to have a terrific 10 win season. I have been very spoiled growing up as a UR fan and have never experienced anything other than success, so to me losing tough ones to the Indians and the pukes are painful to me. It's pretty cool that as a small 2,000 person school that we can win as much as we do. I enjoyed it as always even though I can't come to as many games anymore now that I'm off at school but I enjoyed my 13th straight year of going to games with my dad and making some great memories! Let's come back strong next year and keep Danny Rocco and keep this train rolling!

Actually, you have grown on me and I now accept you as a valuable member of this board with your own unique perspective, though I was initially convinced that you were a troll. I generally appreciate your perspective and enjoy what you say. I particularly like your view because of your age and the fact that you are an undergraduate, which is an aspect very much lacking on this board, even among those at UR.

You are not unique in being a Spider Fan and attending another school. One of our Trustees, S. D. Roberts Moore, graduated from VaTech and is and has been a huge Spider Fan. Our schools are uniquely different and no reason not to cheer for the other unless we are competing, especially in your case as the child of a noted alumnus and one of the best UR wide receivers in his generation.

So welcome and please remain an active member adding your perspectives from time to time as you seen them.

It was not a good season it was a great one. I admit when we seemed to get a little cavalier about games early in the season, i wondered if these guys really wanted it...... they proved my concerns unfounded. Considering the injuries this group did an exceptional job, they should be very proud of themselves, I know I am.

I will remember this season for a long time. It really was a great run and so many amazing stories. Trau as a first team all-america. Brown breaking every record. Craig as a man among boys. Thompson as the first freshman to run for 1000 yards after Collins & Goodall went down. Howard playing through it all. I'll even through in some great special teams plays.

Hurts if Rocco is walking away from these guys. But hope the next man up comes in and kicks blue hen tail.
