I know human nature is to want to 'cash out' on our current winnings with the Sweep of the Sheep, but we shouldn't be concerned about a 3rd tilt with them.
They are leaking oil all over the highway. Without Weber, they can't turn people over and besides Graham, they cannot score. Unless Melvin Johnson wakes up and gets hot, RPI will lose badly tonight, be in a dogfight against Mason and will be in another dogfight on Thursday. They are also a 1 and done in the NCAA tourney.

Whatever mythical worries we have about the whole "It's-hard-to-beat-a-team-three-times-in-a-year" thing, multiply those by about 10 from VCU's standpoint, because I'm sure we are in their head by now. They realize that if we had made a few FTs the second game wouldn't have been close. The first game wasn't really close for the last 10-15 minutes either.

On beating VCU for the 3rd time, we go from being the prey to being the predator. We would be favored in the rematch but you know VCU would relish the chance to beat us up there. But do they want to see us again after we pretty much controlled them the first two games, I highly doubt it. There are other teams they match up better against.

VCU is no lock for the tourney, especially if they get blown out like this tonight. The committee is not a bunch of idiots. It can see what this team has done over the last month plus, and if this continues, obviously it's not a tournament-worthy team.
Davidson up 40-21 at half. So many good cuts ball pressure doesn't even matter. Really looks like we are the 4 seed. Glad to get someone playing on 0 days rest

Graham doesn't look himself his ankle must be killing him. VCU can't compete down Weber and Graham. Would love to get them in the tourney at this point.

This is great television. Bottom line, RPI is just not very good and they are quickly playing their way onto the bubble. Go Cats.
