Very impressive. What more can we ask of Gilly? One of the top point guards in the country and also one of the best students. You can tell he has a very high IQ by how quickly he processes information on the basketball court.

I would not be surprised if he becomes the most successful former player. After he retires as a player, he not only could be a great coach, but I could see him being a general manager for an NBA team some day.

Glad Jacob won the award. It seemed rather quiet to me regarding him becoming the NCAA leader in steals, so it is nice for him to get a national award. We all know the impact he had on Richmond Basketball, but as we know that has been extremely localized and often the school on Broad has taken all of the local focus away from UR.
