Hopefully the G-League team can fare a little better than the the pro team. Beilein should have never went for the money with that team and lasting half a season. BUT - he still did get a nice payday out of it.
Wonder if Geriot would ever consider a college job? Or is he thinking long term career on NBA benches?

Trap that’s an odd take u love to pull w Beilein. “Went for the money”. I’m sure JB likes money who doesn’t. This was so far from a money grab esp at his point of career where $ was no issue. Check out the long term contract he had at Michigan. He was better $ wise there. He left it and he left tons at Cleveland. He could of forced Cavs to fire him & pay him out. He didn’t. It just did not work out.

hope it works out for Geriot & he does great things.

Beilein was consistent throughout his career in that he was ALWAYS seeking the bigger stage. I believe his drive for that, ultimately caught up with him, as I never saw his personality or system as being a match for the NBA. Apparently, after a half season, he realized that as well.

Anyone know how many Charge players made it up to the Cavs this season? The Cavs had one of the best turnarounds in recent memory. So wonder if that looks good on Geriot - since the Charge on the minor league team basically.

Things did not go well for the Charge this season.
Unfortunately worst record in league at 6-26 though I don't think W-L records is the ultimate concern of big league club .

This I think is what the big club desires. Maybe just one player that can be productive off the bench. See three players promoted during this season Dylan Windler, RJ Nembhard, and Brandon Goodwin. Appears Windler only one still on NBA roster when season ended.
