Well looks like jmu has got game day again next week for their game against nova. They still can't stop talking about the last time they had it. Of course we all know how jmu fans are, they'd rather have a glorified pre game show and talk about it for ten years than actually win the game. Good to see that they are playing a team that they can actually beat this time for game day. I would love to see nova go in there and wax them.

I actually have confirmation that the sign is real. I know that from someone that goes to jmu. Apparently the RA's there are also using black lights to search the showers. Didn't know y'all pukes were that gross.

While that's generally true for "regular" CGD appearances, when it's FCS it's more about tahe school and the atmosphere. Both times NDSU hosted, they played Delaware State and Incarnate Word...

I don't think they have to, but they will generally do a "small school" show on a slow week. It's not always FCS, they've gone to some D2 and D3 places too. None of those games above have two top 25 teams, but Lee Fitting has confirmed that their first choice was YSU/NDSU before YSU lost and OU/Texas was next before OU lost...and I would imagine USC/Utah was next before Utah lost.

Their only "small school" week last year was when they went to Kalamazoo for Buffalo at Western Michigan...

And I wish my sign was as good as 2 years ago. Villanova doesn't inspire me as much as you Spatters do. Most likely will make fun of UVA and how they've never even been featured as a visiting team on Gameday.

Noncasual JMU fans went into that game with dread. Never thought we would lose Vad but losing the game was a reality. Disappointment eventually turned into relief as that game/handling of the event by the EW was one of the final nails in the coffin that sent him on his way. TP soft defense. In the right spot just couldn't tackle or punish anybody. Having watched mostly all of UoR games this year I think UoR seems to be the same type of team. Looking forward to 11/11.
