hard to forget the crushing defeat at the end...

not able to watch the video and my memory may not have the details correct but didn't we come from behind late?...taking the lead, but leaving just enough time on the clock for Lehigh to drive to the winning score with virtually no time left on the clock...

it was great to have Spiders football back in the Playoffs...

Go Spiders!

We came in heavily favored. Our running game was dominant but their passing was dominant.Pendergrass and Miles played extremely well.
Our D was loaded with talent but they continued to find the flat with YAC and down and outs.We went up by 2 with about a minute remaining. We missed the PAT on that last TD score.Yep we lost by 1 on a 30 yd FG with 4 sec left.

Our backfield runners were sized at 230 Lbs(Pendergass), 240 Lbs(Snider),respectively. We outsized them dramatically.

3. LEHIGH MOUNTAIN HAWKS

LOCATION: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

STADIUM: Goodman Stadium

HEAD COACH: Tom Gilmore (4-7, second season; 76-88, 15 seasons)

2019 RECORD: 4-7, 3-3 Patriot (Tie/3rd)

THE SKINNY: Gilmore enters his second season at Lehigh, but also as the dean of Patriot League head coaches (2004-17 seasons at Holy Cross). Senior wide receiver Jorge Portorreal has gone over 50 receptions in each of his first three seasons, but after him, the Mountain Hawks don't necessarily have the star power of past teams. That will help create a hard-hat mentality, which is fine to Gilmore, whose offense will have a new starting quarterback (junior Alec Beesmer was the 2019 backup) and seeks more consistency on the offensive line. Running back Zaythan Hill's freshman season was highlighted by a league-record 94-yard touchdown run against Fordham. The defense features senior linebackers Pete Haffner and Erik Slater.

Remember being furious that I had to miss this game coming back from SC from thanksgiving break and my parents couldn’t care less about catching a sporting event. Got home just in time to see us miss the kick that would of either tied or won the game for us on the evening news. Loved watching Winston October play.
