Wake is going to whip us a good, even if we sell out the place with BOGO offer for $8 courtside seats for an ACC game. So pathetic.
Getting an extra day off should be beneficial to this team with all the minutes the starters are logging. In many of these early season tournaments you have to play 3 games in 3 days. I’d hate to see us in that situation seeing how we looked gassed after 20 minutes of play last night.
Fios must have thought we were going to beat Loyola, championship game is at 7:30.
As far as Richmond being favored against Wyoming, weren't we also favored against Longwood and Loyola?

I don't know anything about Wyoming. Considering they are missing some players I guess we might win. But I wouldn't doubt that Wyoming has some players on the bench. I am prepared for the worst with the inconsistent play we will see all season. We could lose or win by 6.
Wyoming is presently a one man show. Justin James. About 20 PPG and 12 FTA. Leads the team in assists and rebounds. James has only been on the bench for 10 minutes through 5 games. And the Cowboys play at a fast pace tempo. Also their bench plays less than UR's. Only positive aspect of team is they get to the foul line a lot.
So Kenpom has a stat below showing simply how much a player is involved while playing. James ranks 25th in the country.
Percentage of possessions used (%Poss): A measure of personal possessions used while the player is on the court. Simply assigns credit or blame to a player when his actions end a possession, either by making a shot, missing a shot that isn’t rebounded by the offense, or committing a turnover.
So we all know how poor Mooney's defense has been so far, how about a Box-and-One on James? Put Woj on him, then maybe JJ and whoever right from the time he gets his hands on the ball. Relentlessly wear him down!
Also since Wyoming goes to the foul line a lot, a Zone type defense could prevent Richmond from picking up cheap fouls. And let them jack up 3PTA and hopefully when James does, he will be double teamed. As a poster stated above, UR started out as a 4.5 fav, meaning the public believes the Spiders should win this game. Coach Mooney, no excuses, get the W!

Since Wyoming has no depth, that may explain part of why they have a 1-4 record right now
5 pm is perfect... the only way to watch this version of the Spiders is with an adult beverage in hand.
Wyoming has 3 regular players out with injury right now. So, that is why they have little depth right now. What is our excuse?
Spiderman, guess who's #2 in the country regarding that %possession stat I posted above? It's Isaiah Walton. OMG! That's the guy who plays for Longwood who appeared to be the main reason why Mooney's team lost. Unfortunately too late to try a Box-and-One or whatever defense on him, though Mooney could have made any adjustment on Walton at halftime.
Maybe Mooney did and it didn't work enough? Though I doubt anyone thought the Spiders would succomb that night no matter what Mooney did or didn't do. Except a few posters here who recognized the talent Longwood's coach had at his disposal.

And something to tells me this is exactly what our pre game scout is going to say. Hey guys, we are going with the same defense we always run but pay extra special attention to number 22.
