After watching Satchmo's video, I really liked his description of their stadium as the "Aluminum Bowl".

I remember having a conversation with a bright young JMU coed. I always like to play a game of "who's on first". I was wearing a spider sweatshirt and I asked her if she went to JMWho? She said no, JMU. This went on for several minutes.

JMU's endowment is.... this can't be right $78 million? Robins alone donated $50 million to UR in the 60s. Some of these JMU alums should try to give a little back.

Yep. State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Harrisonburg. No wonder they renamed it for the short fat guy with the hot wife.

18k/81%/53k

UR did a little better @ 26k/84%/61k (Spider grads clearly make up cost difference in salary), and didn't think it was even a major selling point of our school.

There was an article a few years ago that showed that vcu was among the few colleges where high school graduates after four years earn more than vcu graduates. Attending vcu is kinda a waste of money. Ok, just saying.

Bottom line. It takes JMU 20,000 students, government handouts/money to field a university with a competitive football team It take Richmond 4000 student and no government money. We obviously are talented enough to do more with less.
