It appears that X-Box360 has an ESPN app that enables access to ESPN3 programming. I haven't had a chance to check it out, does anyone know if this is possible?

Yes, Xbox has this option, works pretty well

As long as your cable provider supports WatchESPN (most do), there are a ton of ways to view ESPN3 content...online in a browser or apps for iOS, Android, Windows, Xbox, Chromecast, Roku, Apple TV.
