Just saw Dr Heilman interviewed by Megan Kelly on Fox. Was reporting on WWII and the greatest generation. Lengthy interview in which he talked about foundation taking vets back to the countries and places where they fought in the war. What a great man, wonderful representative of our school, and patriot.

a superb book and all you have to do is peruse the inside book jacket and then you are hooked and have to read every page, an amazing story. saw him at homecoming walking the parking lots pregame and shaking hands, still are very best ambassador.

Saw in the newspaper this morning that Mrs. Heilman died last Thursday. Ironically, we were boarding a plane to Chicago early Thursday morning and saw Dr. and Mrs. Heilman and their children on the plane. Had a short chat with Dr. Heilman and he said they were going to Branson for a family reunion. Must have been sudden. So sad. Thoughts and prayers to the Heilman family.
