Diggs to the Redskins, Ritcher to the Titans

Surprised nothing on Jacobi. Perhaps a little more negotiating than the others?

hopefully we will hear something about Jacobi soon, I'm guessing he has more than one offer.

Shocked he wasn't signed by an NFL team for camp somewhere--maybe a trip up to Canada?

For the first time, a University of Richmond player is likely to compete with the Redskins at their training camp in Richmond.

Reggie Diggs, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver, was one of 14 undrafted players signed by the Redskins this week.

Undrafted free agents are often kept through training camp - or until another player emerges that the team likes better. The final handful of roster spots that remain will be filled next weekend at the team's rookie minicamp, when dozens of other undrafted players try out for spots.

The Redskins gave Diggs a $2,000 signing bonus, meaning they aggressively pursued him in the hours after the draft.

The biggest bonuses, $5,000 each, went to linemen Dominick Jackson and Shiro Davis and cornerback Geno Matias-Smith.

Full list of undrafted free agents:

Kevin Bowen, T, 6-9, 330, East Central (Okla.)

Tevin Carter, S, 6-1, 218, Utah

Michael Cooper, TE, 6-5, 257, Indiana

Shiro Davis, LB, 6-3, 256, Texas

Reggie Diggs, WR, 6-4, 200, Richmond

Ejiro Ederaine, LB, 6-3, 234, Fresno State

Joe Gore, T, 6-6, 300, Clemson

Maurice Harris, WR, 6-3, 195, California

Dominick Jackson, G, 6-6, 315, Alabama

Robert Kelley, RB, 6-0, 220, Tulane

Joe Kerridge, FB, 6-0, 249, Michigan

Anthony Lanier, DE, 6-6, 265, Alabama A&M

Geno Matias-Smith, S, 6-0, 196, Alabama

Valdez Showers, WR, 6-0, 193, Florida

Yeah, that is really strange about Jacobi. I don't know what to figure. Maybe he is planning on going to Canada...or Europe.
What do you think, Counter? You seem to be on the inside on those sort of matters.

Doggone it! What bad luck. Hope it heals soon so he can play. Reggie has good hands, speed and great size for a receiver. Could make a good pro. OSC

Too bad. Skins fan in me thought he had a legitimate shot to at least make the practice squad given our height deficit at the receiver position. That being said hope fully he gets healthy and comes back stronger.
