I was thinking the same thing!!Dan please come home to Richmond....
The recruiting thing usually doesn't work well with pro coaches
the NBA is becoming a joke, players band together to form super teams, leaving the others to be the Washington Generals. Now that LeBron is going to the Lakers, that job isn't looking as rosy as it once did (what they're left with is Kevin Love and a bunch of bad contracts). Of course, at the assistant level they're measured to a different level of success than the head coach, so he still has room to make his mark.
Agreed, but Lakers are hardly a super team right now even with Lebron. Had Lebron gone to Philly or Houston than he was clearly super team shopping but I think this move for LeBron was more about marketing himself in the LA market, which he is also his home now. And as a Sixer fan, I really would have liked to see LeBron go there to team up with Simmons and Embiid.the NBA is becoming a joke, players band together to form super teams, leaving the others to be the Washington Generals.
and Kawhi Leonard is threatening to sit out if he isn't traded to the Lakers.Agreed, but Lakers are hardly a super team right now even with Lebron. I'm not a Sixers fan, but I'd watch every game of theirs if he had joined. really a fun roster there. They do have a fun roster even with our LeBron. While you can't even turn down a player of LeBron caliber, I was concerned that he might impede the development of Simmons because they both play the same role on the court.I'm not a Sixers fan, but I'd watch every game of theirs if he had joined. really a fun roster there. now we have to listen to LaVar boast that two max contract guys came to LA to play with his son. smh
Lebron would have been a good fit. He needs to conserve energy at this point and move off the ball some. Play him at the 3, Covington off the bench. You can still put the ball in Lebron's hands with the shot clock running down. Him and Simmons together would be sick. They do have a fun roster even with our LeBron. Kawhi is a much better fit for the Sixers but as IM stated, I am concerned about his maturity.
... not a fan of very many players who cant shoot the bball (i. E. Ball, Simmons)Lebron would have been a good fit. He needs to conserve energy at this point and move off the ball some. I don't trust Kawhi after last year.
BIG concern here in Philly that he bolts to LA. Hell he's already dating a Kardashian!Unfortunately, I think Simmons is going to LA first chance he gets. Stars want to play in the glitzy cities nowadays.
