CUSA possible schedule change

This is something to keep an eye on. If it works, other conferences may try it.

Interesting. It makes sense for a conference that got no at-large bids.
I imagine it might cause some headaches not knowing your last 4 games (location/opponent) until you reach the last two weeks of the season.
Also, if your "travel partner" is in your pod, you would play them 3 times during the regular season. If you're in the bottom pod with your travel partner, theoretically you could play 4 times!

Not being able to change your conference seeding out of your "pod" over the last two weeks has its drawbacks as do the benefits of a strong end to your conference season if you started poorly. Parts of it fail the logic test. Would not favor such a system.

Definitely interesting. Sort of gaming the system but that already happens OOC to an extent anyway.

Agree it is an attempt to "game the system" but its possible efficacy is questionable.
