He kicked off our 2025 transfer portal thread with his early entry and our interest, but now things are ramping up with him and he's planning to take a visit to the Spiders. Some stiff company though.

After a First-Team All-CAA campaign (15.7 PPG, 6.2 RPG), the 6-foot-7 forward is scheduling visits. “I’ll be at Richmond and Providence soon,” Duggan said. Butler and Wake Forest Demon Deacons remain in the mix, per sources.

I like the schools that we are competing with. Sounds like an impact caliber player. Let’s get the job done!

MoJo's trying to steal another one from us, isn't he...grrr.

This guy looks like he could be a Bigelow type, but rebounding numbers not as good. Like how he attacks the rim. Think big thing we have is probable good feedback from McGeehan, and as GK alludes, maybe a combo deal with Assistant position and the player.

And his rebounding is an issue because?? Remember the CM emphasis upon rebounding, right?

lol on the combo deal. If this player comes to UR, it will be because he is familiar with the system and likes to play that way. I watched Camels game or two in the last year and thought to myself this looks like a better version of what I am seeing at UR.

I'm with GK in that I wouldn't mind having McGeehan back. Yes would love new blood and different perspective, but as noted that is not in moons wheelhouse. So if staying in the family, he is a very good option, especially if he can bring Duggan along.

Only way you even consider that is a package deal. McGeehan coming back by himself, meh. 12 years at Campbell, below .500 record overall (.480) and even worse record in the conference (.448). He makes Mooney look like Coach K. Mooneyball doesn't work anywhere apparently.

Mooneyball works in the minds of a select few that control the purse and decision making. Unfortunately Mooneyball doesn’t translate well to a basketball court.

I get it. How about if we trade Peter Thomas for McGeehan and Duggan?

I'm just trying to work within the parameters of the self inflicted ceiling set by PQ, Hard and the admin for our hoops program.

A lot to like about Duggan. Compare to Dusan and AP. AP literally had ZERO tape. We were going off of the fact he practiced against national champions and a few Uconn fans liked him. Dusan never showed an all around game, even in the highlights. This guy at least shows some all around game passing and attacking and scrapping. Think he could be upgrade over both.

pretty bouncy. and gets on the floor. like his offensive game a lot. wish he rebounded more per 40 minutes for a 6'7" guy.
