Charlotte is still a commuter school by many accounts. It competes with the Panthers and getting the alumni and students to buy in here is difficult. Now based on location they don't have to travel far for recruiting with SC, NC, TN, VA and GA being close. Healy does have some experience with the TN recruiting scene.

Will Healy is going to absolutely kill it down there at Charlotte. I am thinking about getting into coaching and I will likely be contacting him about maybe trying to work with his program at UNCC.

In hindsight, would of been really bold to hire him at the time but a move I think we all would of all welcomed. Shame he wont make a stop here as he ascends up the coaching ladder.
