Nathan Cayo is surrounded by 4 high profile other starters. He is a quiet guy who rarely shows emotion during the game. He is the Mailman who always delivers when needed. Last year he quietly led the team with 59.9 field goal percentage, the third-highest in the A-10, 23rd highest in Division I and fourth-highest in a season in school history, while Averaging 12.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. He is also a great athlete who plays well at both ends of the court.

This year he is shooting an amazing 64.2% from the floor and 88.2% from the FT line, averaging 9.2 points and 4 rebounds a game while only playing 25.2 minutes per game compare to 31.3 last year. His rebounding has gone up and his points have slightly declined per 40 minutes since last year.

He wasn't mentioned in any of the articles about the game last night, but he quietly played 27 minutes, was 5 for 6 shooting for 11 points.

I don’t have a clue how he feels about the seemingly media snub, but possibly he is pleased because other teams are focusing too much on his teammates, making him all the more successful.

Every game, you can pretty much mark him down for 10 points, a bunch of boards, and good hard defense. I don't think we have had a more consistent player than him this year. And he has shown a marked improvement in one of the main areas of weakness in his game, his FT's.
