Yes he was a good guy. When I first arrived at UR in 1975, I used to hang around the Robin Center and the next year, Coach Slone made me a manager of the basketball team. That gesture of his, changed my life for the good. Thanks, Coach Slone. Greg

Terrific find - SF. Good heartwarming story and glad to read about his children and several grandchildren. Admit find it unusual when the word several is used in place of a number because several generally means more than two but not a large number................. So maybe a good trivia question is "exactly how many grandchildren does he have?"
