The CAA is the top FCS football league - so if they cancel, that is likely the end of FCS football this season. Can't see a reason for the lower level FCS leagues to try and play.
Saw on another thread the A10 has an announcement tomorrow as well. Don't have a good feeling about it.

Interesting how much is left open in this announcement. CAA teams allowed to schedule independently if they so desire (and JMU has already started working on a schedule) and the possibility of a spring season left open. Tough, tough times.

I think at MANY FBS schools a cancellation is going to mean the loss of a lot of players as Seniors and redshirt Juniors (seniors in school, but not on the field simply may not be willing to do all the work. From last game to next game is going to be 20 months. That's a lot of running and lifting etc. with no games!!
