Brickhouse hosting MLAX heavyweights in 2024

We charged for select games against big-name opponents the past few years, but otherwise they've always been free.

Not sure what type of rule you're thinking of.

Any chance of an at-large for us if we don't win the A-10? Presumably we would need to win at least 2 or 3 of these 4 to have a shot?

A10 teams will also need to do well against the big boys in order to enhance UR getting an at large bid.

UMASS schedule SOS OOC is low.It won’t help UR.(Army,Rutgers)

HPU schedule has more difficult SOS OOC(Duke,Syracuse,G’Town)

St Joes somewhat difficult SOS OOC(BU,Duke,Penn)

Crunch time, 1:40 to go, Spider ball, all tied up at 11.

Spiders jumped out to a 5–2 lead early, but promptly gave it all back. Spiders have kind of been playing off the back foot since then, falling behind by a goal or two, then fighting back to occasionally tie it up. Two big goals from O’Neill here in the 4th to get us to where we are at the moment. Now let’s see if we can grab the lead down the stretch.

Spiders killed most of the clock but couldn’t get a good shot off, Terps raced downfield and had a golden opportunity in the final seconds at the doorstep but couldn’t get a goal. OT tied at 11.

That was scary...if cleanly played, MD wins...let go spiders!

Phew, huge stop in close for the Spiders. Timeout, Spider ball with 27 seconds left in first OT.

Terps get the 12–11 win. The latest of many “so close” games against top competition.

Tough loss - found Starsia's comment that other than ND, UVA, Duke - rest of top 20 pretty even - (not exact words but gist of his comment) . Hopefully we get big win or two with home schedule............Team played their hearts out and goalie had some great saves.

You have to win these games, the talent is there. These "close good losses" is a thing of the past. Watched this game, Maryland was there for the taking, the series at the end was inexcusable...you have to get a real shot off. it's 11 years now, losing is bad no matter the opponent.
