Bracket Projections

South Dakota State losing helps us out quite a bit. They may have been over ranked anyway, but they just cost themselves a seeding, at least if it comes down to us vs. them.

Nova is 6-5 and has no chance at a playoff birth. I think UNH has a chance at 7-4. Spiders have auto bid. W&M and unfortunately the Pukes are definitely in. I think 4 CAA teams make it in the field. Congrats to our Spiders who are 2015 CAA champs!

I think we are looking at being seeded somewhere in the 5 to 7 range. With S.Dakota State losing, there is really no clear cut teams for the 8 seed.

'Nova is not getting in at 6-5, like Spider B said.

It would be very surprising if no CAA team gets a bye, and we have the best argument. They might give it to JMU with their 9-2 record, but us winning the 3-way tie-breaker should sway the committee.

We sure helped UNH sustain their playoff streak, huh? Although they could just as easily put Towson in as the 4th CAA team. Remember 3 years ago when Towson smoked UNH (at UNH) on the last day and they still put UNH in ahead of them?

The top 4 seeds seem to be Jacksonville State, Illinois State, North Dakota St and McNeese.

McNeese State's schedule was a crap sandwich (in part because they didn't play LSU, but...), and I see them getting penalized for it. They probably drop into the lower four seeds. I'll take a stab at the top eight:

1. JSU
2. NDSU
3. PSU
4. ISUR
5. Richmond
6. McNeese
7. JMU
8. SUU

I feel like there can't possibly be 8 conference champions and/or at-large teams with a better resume than us, period. We should have a bye.

Stonewall, great win for The Citadel today. However, they wont be seeded. They didn't even win the SoCon.

at 8-3 with a win over a SEC team, don't count citadel out, particularly after seeing what the committee has done in the past.

See the 8 seeds as:

5.Chas Southern

I can't believe the committee would value JMU's win over a terrible SMU team to such an extent that they'd ignore the fact they lost to us at home, and seed JMU and not us.

I'll say it now. If we play Duquesne and then go to McNeese, that's a dream draw. That would make it worth playing this weekend

Why do these guys have JMU seeded before us? That said, an opening game against Duquesne would be great. But I would still rather have the bye.

all i know is that i don't want a first game with a triple option run team or a spread pass game.

JMU isn't the same team since Vad Lee went down. They're not seed worthy. I hope the committee takes that into consideration.

We can beat anybody in the bracket. I do have a hard time believing that anybody that plays next weekend can get to Frisco.

IMHO, it was foolish for Chattanooga to play FSU at the end of the season. That was crazy.

What about Charleston Southern at Alabama?

THE Citadel at South Carolina worked out but when it was scheduled...

SEC teams historically schedule these FCS games this week every year. Kinda weird for the FCS teams, but I assume they don't complain about getting $500k checks, either.
