Memphis isn't even their Q1 win so I'm not sure why you are so obsessed with it.

Yeah, all of this is way too early. But I mean VCU's best win being Utah State, who is 7-0 against Quad 4 and somehow still barely in the top 50 despite having just 2 other wins, is obviously a joke. That win ain't getting them into the tournament, and it won't be a Q1 win at the end of the year.

I do hope VCU stays in the top 75 all year so that we can get a Q1 and Q2 win out of them, at least.

Legger, one of those Utah State wins was an easy one over San Diego State. They’ve got a shot at another one today. They also hung right with BYU...they’re very solid. They’re pasting teams they should and are passing the all-important eye test IMO.

They’ll have some more shots in the MWC against Colorado State and Boise. If they get through the slate with just a couple of losses, they’ll definitely be in the mix.

Yeah, Utah State smacked Spider23's 2nd favorite team pretty good the other night. They were impressive. Committee takes note of wins like that, even if they don't win the MWC.

Utah State is better than anyone we've beaten to date.
Hofstra is WAY worse than anyone VCU has lost to.

We just need to play them to prove we're more deserving.

Who? VCU or Utah St.? Both are top 50 and VCU has 6 Q4 wins and Utah St. 7. But, I think both teams have put themselves in real good shape right now, and certainly don't need to win the rest of their games to get in.

Utah State is good, their coach is aot better than Mooney, its too bad we couldn't have got him a few years ago. SDSU is struggling, best player out today, got hurt last game. Love the battle and D every game though. This back to back schedule socks. Luckily for us A10 is not doing this.

And saw an article about USU coach, yes EL they started slow, but unlike pos Mooney, he looked at himself and what was going on and made huge adjustments, after 3 or 4 games, not effing 6 years like Mooney. So yes if we are having to battle usu for a bid it is troublesome, no matter loonardi on our side.

So far they have played one halfway decent a10 team and were annihilated on their home court. I’ll take notice when they beat us, SLU, Davidson or Bona.
