How about some love for a team with heartbreakingl loss last week that travels and gets win a win at a rivals homecoming game. If you want to complain so much with losses at least acknowledge a big conference win. 3 and 1 CAA. Enjoy negative posters.

Give credit where credit is do our young team and coaches are getting it done
listened to this one on the radio...listening and looking at the stats it seems like the offense and defense are still improving...

didn't hear as many missed throws and drops on offense...only one TO!...3rd down conversions >50%

D makes the two biggest stops in the 4th quarter...doesn't cave in at crunch time...

and finally special teams step up with the obvious return TDs and once again 0 yards of punt return yardage for the Hens...

it seems like it's all coming together...

will someone in the stands today, or able to watch on TV share their thoughts

Go Spiders!

Great to see the positivity. A great overall team effort. Glad the team doesnt read this message board.

Saw the highlights. Impressive team win. Incredible number of empty seats for their homecoming game! Rocco's vision doesn't match reality, either on the field or in the stands. Grass not always greener, wholistically speaking, of course.

Saw it in person and team took it to Hens in every aspect of game! All Spiders should be proud and celebrate a statement win. Get over yourselves and give some positive feedback all you negative people!
I understand Rocco was heard complaining to JOC about support from the UD administration. Does anyone know if this is true?

Lol. If you read the Hen's board, they've had enough and are ready to run him off. The artificial turf is not always newer.

Figured that this is the game I had to miss while out scout camping...

oh well. Hoping to catch a replay. Fun to see a good score comes across my feed!

we have 40+ fresh and soph. Sometimes you learn more by losing than winning.

Mancuso needed to earn the trust of the team and the staff after his terrible ball security last year. He seems to have overcome that and he has been terrific.
Its funny how much a better a coach when the PLAYERS don't miss tackles, don't commit turnover and other mistakes.

Didn’t get to listen to much of the game but what I did hear was impressive! Maybe we are turning a corner finally.

Listening to the game we seemed to continually bring in fresh players, going deeper
on our depth chart, especially the d-line. If I am correct, and maybe some of you can
verify this fact, this is very positive sign and a reason for this terrific win.

This is what is wrong with our program we only support when we are at the top
Y’all get abound and support our program

That isn’t a sentiment exclusive to UR fans. Check out the FSU and VA Tech message boards sometime. At least the folks on this board care enough to get upset when we aren’t winning. I’ve been to all our home games this year and there sure are a lot of empty blue seats “supporting” our guys. Great conference road win yesterday. Looking forward to November.

It seemed the same as I listened. I know Delaware had on long drive and the announcer commented that they had gotten in some fresh guys near the end of the drive. I have been under the impression the D-line is two deep with 8 quality players and some of them are young. Nice to have one of the top DE in the country but he can not play every down. Let's hope it helps later in the season. Spiders really need a home conference win this coming week.
Stoney Brook beating Nova really put Spiders fate in their own hands.
I suspect it will take even more improved play on O with the run game and in secondary on D side, but all these F and RSF are having to grow up and any FR that have not played (I have not kept how many of their 4 games some have used) should be able to contribute as needed.
It will be tough after the Yale and Fordham losses, but 6-2 in CAA might have a chance, depending on how the rest of the country plays out in coming weeks. FCS has three really good teams, a few good teams and then the rest. Yes Spiders do have one of the three really good teams and two of the good ones left, but I still believe this team has some talent and I hope the Yale game put a fire under them.

Defensive line has eight guys in rotation. They are a solid group that compete each snap and stay fresh. Shout out to the linebackers for making a great showing yesterday and especially to Billy Caughell for being ready to contribute when Dressler could not play. Tristan Wheeler is a special player already as a true freshman. He is getting better each week and will be all-conference multiple years before he graduates. Solid tackling by secondary yesterday. I know we all have been frustrated at times with coaching staff but they had squad ready to play yesterday with a great game plan. I think we all will have to live with Mancuso being our leading rusher as it is a major part of the offense and he is a physical runner. He is definitely raising his level of play. We are still very much a work in progress but we are definitely progressing weekly. Short yardage package still needs to be better. Next week will be a tough game but I feel good about our chances to get a win. Lets all try to give this team a home field advantage by doing our part to support them.

Went to the game, tremendous effort! Very impressed with all facets of the game. Defensive line was impressive all game, and Delaware seemed to be on the defensive when they were on offense the entire game - other than their long third quarter drive.

I was super impressed with Mancuso. Looked poised and in control the entire game. Made solid throws when he had receivers wide open, and made some really good throws under pressure into tight windows. Had a couple of overthrows, but they were right on time - just a little high for our receiver. He has some great vision and timing running the ball.

The Delaware fans have seen enough of Dykes, but will see more the next three years. Great win!

Great win team! I didn't see or hear any of it, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the score pop up Saturday night. Anyone have a link to video highlights of the game?

Great win. Was there with a big UD supporter and backer. One who crowed a good bit when they "stole" Rocco from us! It was quite enjoyable watching us take it to them.

I was with a lot of UD big honcho's. I will say that they still have a very elevated interpretation of where their program is (and should be) in the FCS world. They truly expect that that should be a Top 3-5 team literally every year. In fact, many of them seem to think its an entitlement that should be automatically achieved unless someone affirmatively screws it up. And to many, that'd be Rocco. But he's not nearly as unpopular with the crowd I was with as is the AD. She (and for a few of them, that she's a she seemed to the problem) isn't too popular with the old football - centric alums!

Tubby Raymond is still the UD FOOTBALL King
Philly, that's pretty much how the UD message board reads. was surprised to read the talk of moving to the WAC. thought most on this was dead, but when you see their stadium renovation and expansion...who knows?
