Have enjoyed catching up on the all-time lists for UR b-ball. I’ll start with these 3 great pure shooters :
Nick Sherod
Darien Brothers
Jonathan Baker

Shawndre was good unless you needed him to make a game winner.
He’d of been a legend had he hit that game winner vs VCU in the a10 tourney...loved his play but Still furious at him for chucking up a 3 he bricked before the half home against Vcu in 16 when we were up two and could save for the last shot. Instead vcu goes and buries a 3 of their own to end the half and win in overtime.

I'm a week behind watching The Last Dance but since Schweitz was in a scene from when Phil Jackson coached Albany to the CBA championship , for those of you who never saw him play he was an amazing shooter. I mean he wasn't fast or a great ball handler or defender but played in the NBA because of his shooting ability.

One of my fellow 76ers texted me that Bob McCurdy should not be left off the list. Aron Stewart was also
a pretty accurate shooter. Yes, these guys are from the 70s that most don't know, but if they had had the 3 pt line,
they may have been even more prevalent in the scoring records. McCurdy was NCAA scoring champion in 74-75 season
with 32.9 average and Aron Stewart played from 72-74 averaging 28.1 points per game and his #30 was retired at UR. Stewart was the second African American to play at UR.

These guys had to be pretty good shooters, to have those point averages. On side note Stewart averaged as a 6'5" small forward 12 rebounds a game.
