Who is the coach that has been creating them, they are one bright spot. In fact nearing the end of overtime we should have taken the ball to the base line and called time out.
I give much credit to whomever created the inbounds play. Most know about it by now and the Spiders still make it work time after time.
That was crazy - never seen 3 lay ups on the same type of inbounds play - had us baffled.....
They are VDU "students", it works every time!!!!I give much credit to whomever created the inbounds play. Most know about it by now and the Spiders still make it work time after time.
Pretty sure spidernation.com poster diagrammed it on a napkin and chucked it on the court. One of our players picked it up, liked it and went with it. It couldn't possibly have come from the guy that gets ripped ad nauseum here.
Okay Mo, that's funny. But I know you, and I know you can't be happy with 20-15 and the NIT or CBI. I'm seriously wondering what your breaking point is as far as Mooney is concerned.
Exactly. Let's support him now. No one wants to win more than I. Just feel that some (many?) of these threads hurt more than help. OSCYou confuse me for someone that isn't frustrated.
The bottom line is nothing will change until 2020 unless something criminal or academic fraud related happens. By 2020, the Sherod/Buckingham group will have had its run so it's a pretty good fork in the road.
Personally, I like Chris and want to see him (us) succeed. I'd like to do everything I can to help him (us).
Anyone ever consider that maybe both Chris Mooney, our assistant coaches, and our players are pretty clever. OSC

This thread does not support the larger program, we're not where we want to be and where the school (and contributors) paid to be.This thread supports the Coach and players
Don't think so. These are designed plays, that sure the player has to read but still planned. The thing that changed in our inbound play strategy is TJC.
I sure am glad you didn't! I hope we actually defend it next time.In fact nearing the end of overtime we should have taken the ball to the base line and called time out.
