Any viewing locations announced

I was told "Buffalo Wild Wings" is the official game watch location. I'd bet money if i show up at BWW at 7pm on Friday night, nobody there would have a clue that this game is occurring or have any idea what ESPN3 is.

Agree that this is when new Sports Comms Director and Spider Club need to step up to engage people in the area. Guess they're assuming people will go to BWW but not my first or second choice. Wish they'd open up the suites in RC (if not RC overall) and run the game on video boards. Know it means logistics (security, event management, etc) and that costs, but if not when you're 1 of the last 8 standing in the national playoffs, when would you go the extra mile for fans?

Agree. On a Friday night in particular, demand will be there. I have spoke with a number of people today excited to see this game that don't want to be watching at home with their laptop on their couch. There is money to be made on this by somebody.

I was able to DVR the last game from channel 322 on FIOS. of course it wasn't in HD, and the annoying commercials during the breaks reminded me of watching it on ESPN3. I've been checking the channels from 321-328 or so to see if the game shows up there for Friday night.

Game Watch Party in Arlington Virginia.

Great location - close to Clarendon Metro Parking in the neighborhood (parking passes provided if you park in a controlled area). Flat screen and home theatre.

All varieties of beverages and tailgate food to served!

Should be a great time - We did a VCU game watch party and it worked very well!

Hope to see lots of Spiders Friday night in NOVA!

This email was just sent out - would love to see an alternate plan besides BWs

agree with Midlo, Mo and others that the Spider Club and/or AD is missing a great opportunity to build interest in the program...

earning a spot in the FCS quarterfinals is pretty special for Spider football...we haven't done it since 2009...

it would be a great time try something bigger, unusual and exciting for this very special game...in order to attract the interest and support of the public and alumni...

unless I'm mistaken, and no slam on BWW, they were the official watch location for the Hampton game in September...there's quite a difference in these two events...

we'll never know whether, or not, we can build our fan base if we don't try different things...
