OL, not on the roster, no name on the jersey, who was he?
 
#'s 51-79 are ineligible receivers in college. Wanted the extra blocker but still wanted the D to respect him as TE

But may they report as eligible to the referee if in that number range?

I don't think i've ever heard a referee announcing an eligible receiver in college football, so i'm guessing not.

Lineman can report in the NFL, so you will hear the referee announce it then. College they cannot, thus the jersey switch
