I know I’m old, but I can’t get over how big these kids are coming out of h.s. You know the linemen will be
over 300 lbs. by the time they actually step on the field.

32 - Do you have any intelligence from your sources on the planned recruiting numbers for 2023 - i.e. total number of commits, positions, number of transfers, etc.? Thanks!

My intelligence(which is notoriously suspect) is that situation is somewhat fluid because of the transfer portal.Rumor is that we could lose 1-2 to the portal.It will also depend on the number of our signees in the December signing period for which we have verbal commitments.My estimate is that we’ll have total signees around 18.

November 28, 2022, through December 17, 2022, is a Contact Period except for the bulleted dates listed below:


Six (6) in-person, off-campus contacts per prospective student-athlete shall be permitted during this time period, with not more than one permitted in any one calendar week (Sunday through Saturday) or partial calendar week.

December 18, 2022, is a Quiet Period.

December 19, 2022, through January 12, 2023, is a Dead Period except as noted below:
National Letter of Intent Early Signing Period Is December 21, 2022 – December 23, 2022

The seven days immediately before the first day of classes of the institution’s second academic term that are not part of the Contact Period (applicable only to prospective student-athletes who intend to enroll midyear).

January 13, 2023, through January 28, 2023, is a Contact Period for the National Service Academies.
January 29, 2023, for National Services Academies is a Quiet Period.

January 13-28, 2023, for midyear junior college National Letter of Intent signing period, remains a Dead Period for junior college prospective student-athletes who intend to enroll midyear.

January 30, 2023, through February 28, 2023, is a Dead Period.
National Letter of Intent Signing Day for the Class of 2023 Is February 1, 2023
