its almost three full months before I make that drive east on I-64 to Cary Field in Williamsburg...nothing would make my year more than for this game to have CAA and FCS Playoff implications again...
for this dream to come true the Spiders will have to be better than they've been since 2016...the Tribe, still rebuilding from Coach Laycock's final years will have to do more than that..
the Reservation has been good to Richmond in big "must win" games since 2008...let's hope it's another "must win" for the Spiders...
at 63-63-5 we'd take the all time lead back in this historic rivalry...
that's it for this year's Countdown...I'm awful glad for some real Spiders football...enjoy the season and let's hope for the break out year the program needs!
