going into this FCS/BCS match up the only Spiders fans who could remember the last time we defeated the Cavs (1946) were members of the "greatest generation"...
on September 3, 2016 younger Richmond fans got a win that they are unlikely to forget...the Spiders dominated this game from start to finish spoiling new Coach Mendenhall's Scott Stadium debut...
it was Coach Rocco's fifth season...the talent level on both sides of the ball was deep and impressive...
watching these highlights during the Pandemic made me realize again how much I miss real, live college football, particularly Spiders football...
