this highlighted game from the 2013 season was a sign of things to come for the UR program...the Spiders were finishing up a disappointing season...the dramatic win over the Blue Hens reinforced the great UR mojo in Newark...
it was a Spiders offensive explosion which updated a number of lines in the UR record books...the finish may remind some fans of another much bigger win in a small city in Iowa...
we saw an offense that would be featured in the subsequent three FCS Playoff seasons...in retrospect the quality and depth of the passing attack was superior...Strauss coming into his own at QB...and a covey of talented and explosive wide receivers...remember all these guys?...Edwards, Barnette, Diggs, Ponder, Brown and Westfall...the OL featured Ruby and Gund...
the Spider Gang did not make this road trip...the highlights are professional at ground level with Matt Smith on the play by play...if you enjoy highlights pay particular attention to the final minute, or so...
