awful glad the pre season "dog days' for Spiders fans are just about over!!!...it's game week!
after missing the Playoffs last season, I know from his remarks that Coach Huesman and his staff find that unacceptable...I do believe this attitude and approach will and does transfer to the players...they will perform with a little extra...
but it won't be easy...despite great talent and athleticism at many positions we are a little thin on depth and have some inexperience at QB, OL and DB...like many I'm optimistic about the newcomers at each of these positions, but they will have to pick up game experience under fire...
our schedule is great from a fan perspective...it's loaded with what should be great entertainment, but we'll have to gel quickly to be ready for a really tough front loaded CAA schedule...I agree with some others, we could be much better and not have it show in the record...
alas, I'm optimistic we can succeed... if everything comes together, and we get lucky on injuries, I do believe we can be this year's surprise CAA team...like 2012, or Elon last season...we find a way to get to 7-4, 5-3 and see what the selection committee says...
