this game has lost a lot of the personal intensity I felt before the Harvey tragedy, but I'm grateful to Sam Houston, Baylor and Richmond officials for finding a way to play the game...
Texas is Texas...they love their football there...despite the misery and loss many are experiencing from Harvey...the ability to listen to, watch or attend this football game may give some an entertaining distraction for a few hours...
it's hard to say how the teams will be emotionally impacted by the tragedy and ensuing delay...it is safe to say as Coach Huesman has that each team is ready to "hit" someone other than themselves...
I believe it's pretty important in the long run for each of these teams to win this game...a win for either team could enhance a FCS at-large resume or a seeding placement...
for the people of Texas I hope it is a fantastic game of incredible and riveting action, but to steal a phrase from another, a game the Spiders win by "just enough"
