the game most of us would like to win the most...if both teams play to their potential there should be a lot on the line for both teams...

ha! Harrisonburg, the home area of many turkeys, should be extra festive with Thanksgiving so close...

I really enjoy the Spiders playing against any of Virginia's great public universities, but JMU is even more special...I'm sure a victory in this one would help sooth the disappointment from last season's dramatic loss...

This game is a f###ing war every year and I wouldn't rather have it any other way. So many classic games between these two teams and I love it! Not sure if I have moorehall73's permission to speak on your forum (just joshing) but this rivalry is a main reason I do not want JMU to go FBS...Unless it is going "big" to the FBS. I think the landscape changes to come are in favor of JMU staying FCS and the division grows in prominence. Go Dukes!

I agree 150%. I do not want y'all to move up. I love the rivalry and it makes both teams better and the conference as a whole so much better. I don't want William and Mary to be our main rival. We need someone else at the top that makes the rivalry so much more meaningful.

Like numerous posters have already said, so many classic games in this series and with both teams starting in the top 10 ( i think both teams should be in the top 5) it should be another thriller this year. The away team loves to win this game and that terrifies me. Lets both be undefeated going into this one and make it the game of the year in the FCS.

It sure was the game of the year in the fcs last year. One of the best displays of football iv ever seen as was the 2015 game. I was so pissed over the game last year I broke a pair of Costa sunglasses after the game.

When JMU goes FBS this rivalry will probably come to an end. Our FBS game should only be with ACC schools and perhaps Vanderbilt and Northwestern.

Cardon Johnson will be a big loss for them but they still have plenty of depth at running back. The biggest reason they will be fine is their O-line play, the just flat out blow people off the ball. It will be interesting to see if Johnson gets a medical redshirt. This will only help us a bit.

Hard to go from FCS to P5. IMHO, Houston will likely leave Madison but he will first need to prove himself at a lower level FBS program.
