well guys, it is starting to heat up down here and know that on sunday aug 27, it will be a tad hot, a bit humid, take the worse summer day in richmond and add 10. even though 7:00 pm sounds like evening, bring your "cool" shirts and shorts and it still won't help. learned early after moving down and attending an a&m game at 7 in early sep, it is plain miserable and you need plenty of water and certainly bring a towel, you will be sweating a ton. other than that, visit the prison museum, eat some barbeque. this is a pretty small town so stay in houston and drive up, assuming most will fly but know some die hards will hit the road which is OK too.

look forward to seeing a lot of you and will attempt to hit our alum group down here for the trip up there. was hoping that the texas kickoff classic, lsu vs byu in nrg would be on the saturday before our game but it is on sat sep 2 instead.
