    Clark may or may not improve viewership of the WNBA. she's not the 1st great women's college player. but if viewership and attendance (and thus revenue) improve, WNBA players will make more money. it didn't happen overnight in the NBA either. I believe the NBA still kicks in $15M per year...

    NBA players get paid a boatload more than WNBA players because the NBA brings in almost infintely more revenue than the WNBA. that's basic freaking economics. that's not sexism. gender has nothing to do with it. it's revenue. and if the WNBA brought in more revenue, they'd be paid more...

    guys do withdraw from the portal. sometimes it's because the collective finds more money. it's not impossible. it's also not common so I'm not expecting it. hopefully we were already properly rewarding a really good 4 year guy with a better NIL than a potential 1 year guy.

    I wasn't talking about results. I'm talking about our ability to retain and attract talent to the roster in the NIL era. Imagine being a SLU or URI fan. this year we lost Dji (graduated) and TSmith last year we lost Burton (graduated), Dread, Nelson ... (edit) and Randolph this year alone...
